an original Erie Canal Village with a distinctive concentration of nineteenth and early twentieth century architecture. During the 1830-40's and 1870-85's the Erie Canal made Jordan a principal commercial, industrial and transportation center of western Onondaga County.

Jordan Leader
I do know the Jordan Historical Society has some Jordan Leaders in their collection.
Is Bill Crofut in any ones age group here? I know he is on-line.
Give me some names of people that grew up in Jordan. I'll try to track them down.
I remember the name, Billy Crofut. He was around my and John's age. If memory servers he lived up on Hamilton Street. On second thought, that is not right. That was Lillian Crofut, his aunt I think. He lived down closer to the Grade / High School near the canal. How about it Billy, set me straight.
