If you don't see November posts go to archives!

Jordan, New York in the fall.........is really beautiful. The canalway towpath is a wonderful place to enjoy the fall season. Either walking or bicycling you'll feel like you are in some other place....and time.

If you haven't visited the new kiosk at the original site of Lock 51 (west of Jordan on NYS Route 31) you must visit it. You'll read some history and see some old photos. This kiosk along with many others across the state were constructed by the NYS Canal Corporation. It's there for us to enjoy.

Share some fall photos with us.

Remembering the Jordan Fall Festival

The 61st Jordan Fall Festival broke numerous records. A few statistics are out already; around 35,000. donuts sold, 2100 bbq chicken halves, 507 entries in the car show, attendance 30,000. There will be more coming.

Being around for 61 years there must be some memories of the festival. Please share them here. Who knows maybe some old portion of the festival could be brought back nex year.

Old Festival photos would be lots of fun to share.
