The map shows the area as Jones Point. When Mrs.Ruth Eno Reed sold the property to the camp owners she insisted that we call the area Eno Point, as her family had owned it longer than the Jones. The Eno family purchased the area in 1918. She sold the area and a campers association was formed in 1982 called the Eno Point Campers Association, Inc. which owns the common property and sets the rules for living on the point. The Town of Elbridge and the Onondaga County Health Department put a lot of restrictions on us when they allowed the subdivision of the camps.

I went to school with a George Eno. Is he related to this person? I would have graduated in 1961, if we had stayed in Jordan. Just curious.
