Canal Village Christmas

What a wonderful evening in Jordan for the Canal Village Christmas tree lighting, caroling along the canal and Santa. The weather held out for us with no high winds or rain. The canal towpath looked beautiful with all the luminaries (320 to be exact). Santa arrived and visited with all the children and some adults. Plans are in the making for next years event.

If anyone has any suggestions or complaints please share them.

Thirty degrees and frost!

Winter is coming soon. Won't be long and we will be shoveling.

On the better side snow really creates a beautiful scene in Jordan.

We're having the first annual Christmas Decorating Contest complete with prizes!

All you have to do is print out the entry form, complete it and return to Village Hall.

Oh! You have to decorate your home!

Opening around May 1st Jordan Art on Main - the gallery,
16 South Main Street in the former Brace Hardware building (hardware from the Erie Canal Era).

The gallery is now accepting inquiries from artists and craftsman.

Santa is coming to the Village of Jordan

Mark your calendars! Thursday November 28th is the Canal Village Jordan Christmas. Join your neighbors, friends and family for an evening of Christmas spirit. The Christmas Tree lighting will be at 7:00 p.m. (by Daddabbo's Pizza) followed by Christmas caroling along the canal towpath with free caroling books. At the Jordan Fire Department we'll meet Santa and enjoy free cookies and cocoa. Santa will give each child a free Activity Book. Santa in 2006 at the Jordan Fire Department
