Spring has sprung in Jordan!

Do yourself a favor and take a walk around the Village. Spring is everywhere. Flowers and trees are blooming adding beautiful colors to the already beautiful landscape.

The Village of Jordan is a great place to walk. There are two options; sidewalks around the Village and the Canalway Trail.

The Canalway Trail is also special for bicycles. You can walk to Weedsport or Camillus Erie Canal Park (Sims Store).....better yet ride a bicycle. It is quite a distance to walk.

Memorial Day Jordan organizers at full throttle!

Organizers of Memorial Day - Jordan are busier than ever getting ready for the May 26th Commemoration, Parade of Bands and Massing of the Bagpipes. Much goes into this day in Jordan. First and foremost is making sure the committee has enough funds. The committee relies on your contribution to make this a successful day in Jordan. If you'd like to contribute in any amount, $5., $10, $20, $50. or more just email mjdoyle@twcny.rr.com and request the form or wait until later today when we'll have the contribution form on-line at http://www.jordanny.com/

We'll also be adding a photo highlight of the 2007 Memorial Day in Jordan.

Canal Clean Sweep-Jordan Style took place yesterday and was a great time! In recognition of Earth Day volunteer residents, business owners, Boy & Girl Scouts and village officials spent a couple of hours cleaning up our community.

It's a great weekend around the Jordan-Elbridge community with snowmobiles from all across the Northeast and Canada.
