This blog (Village Life-JordanNY) was created sometime in 2007.
Kicking it up again for everyone to enjoy.
You'll find some great stories, pictures and maybe some old classmates.
Be sure to check out the archives.

Have fun.  Suggestions welcome.

Pictured here is the great Seneca River west near Quimby's Bridge.

Jack, are you out there somewhere?

Spring is in the air......

Flowers are popping up, skunk is in the air, the blue birds & robins are back and the winter jackets can almost be packed away.

This little guy is out of hibernation.

Old Jordan School

Are these photos of the same school?

On the right is the old Jordan School after it was burned. The view is from Lawrence Street.
Does anyone know what year it burned?

Dave V. emailed the photo showing the school after the fire. Dave added that in the background, to the right is the roof of our (Vrooman's) barn with the cupola on top.

Before I forget to post.....

This Jordan Crock sold at public auction for $7,935 at Crockerfarm Auction in Maryland (March 20009).
It is called a JORDAN, NY Stoneware Jug w/ Cobalt Bird in Wreath.
Pretty neat that Jordan created such lovely and valuable stoneware.
